Meet the Team

HeritageHandCraft is an art studio committed to preserving and celebrating Pakistan’s traditional crafts. Our mission is to revive endangered art forms by bringing together master artisans, modern designers, and cultural enthusiasts under one roof. Based in a multidisciplinary creative space, we produce handmade collections rooted in history but made for today’s world — textiles, ceramics, miniature art, calligraphy, woodwork, and more. Every project is a collaboration: between the old and the new, between generations, and between materials and imagination. We also offer workshops, residencies, and artist-led events that allow the public to learn, engage, and contribute. At HeritageHandCraft, we don’t just make beautiful objects — we create space for cultural continuity, empowerment, and dialogue through the language of craft.

  • Preserving Cultural Identity

We actively document and revive craft techniques that are vanishing due to industrialization and urbanization. From ajrak printing to traditional loom weaving, our studio works directly with elder artisans to ensure these skills are passed on. By doing so, we help preserve not just objects, but the identities and histories they carry.
  • Artist-Centered Model

At HeritageHandCraft, artisans are not laborers — they are co-creators. We involve them in design decisions, pricing, and creative direction. This model ensures fair compensation, professional respect, and the elevation of artisans as artists. Our studio is their stage — and every item reflects their voice.
  • Creative Collaborations

We regularly collaborate with contemporary artists, fashion designers, and architects to explore new expressions of traditional techniques. These creative dialogues lead to limited-edition collections that surprise, inspire, and innovate — while remaining rooted in cultural craft practices.
  • Hands-On Workshops

We host immersive workshops in embroidery, miniature painting, pottery, and more — led by experienced artisans. These sessions are designed for all levels, from curious beginners to seasoned creatives. Participants leave with not just a handmade item, but also a deeper appreciation of cultural heritage and manual skill.
  • Custom Cultural Products

Need something meaningful and handcrafted? We take commissions for custom art pieces, ceremonial gifts, or interior decor inspired by cultural motifs. Whether it’s a hand-painted calligraphy panel or embroidered wall hanging, we collaborate with clients to create pieces that hold deep personal or cultural value.
  • Women Empowerment in Craft

A significant portion of our artisan network includes women from underrepresented communities. By offering training, income opportunities, and recognition, we empower them through cultural work. These women become carriers of tradition and economic agency — weaving both stories and futures.
Our Capabilities
Artisan-Led Workshops
We organize interactive workshops in embroidery, calligraphy, pottery, and natural dyeing. Each session is taught by a master artisan and held in our studio or partner venues. Participants experience the joy of handmade creation while contributing to cultural preservation. Workshops are open to individuals, schools, and companies.
Handmade Art Commissions
We accept bespoke orders for handcrafted art — from wedding gifts to corporate mementos. Whether you want a custom miniature painting, a handwoven tapestry, or a wood-carved plaque, our studio can design it for you. Each commission is made to order, combining traditional mastery with personal storytelling.
Limited Craft Collections
We launch seasonal collections of handmade products — inspired by regional motifs, cultural themes, or collaborative projects. These collections are produced in small batches, ensuring exclusivity and high quality. They’re perfect for collectors, gift buyers, or anyone who values originality and tradition.
Craft Exhibitions & Pop-Ups
We curate exhibitions and pop-up galleries that showcase craft as living art. These events feature masterworks, artisan demonstrations, and artist talks. Held in cultural spaces, museums, or public venues, they spark conversation around heritage, identity, and creativity.
Residency & Studio Access
HeritageHandCraft hosts artist residencies that allow creatives to engage with traditional crafts through studio practice and community interaction. Local and international artists can apply to co-create with artisans, document processes, or explore craft-based research. It’s a space for cross-cultural innovation.
Institutional Partnerships
We partner with NGOs, schools, and heritage institutions to develop educational programs, exhibitions, and product lines that promote craft education. Our services include content curation, training modules, and co-branded cultural products. Together, we extend the impact of handmade knowledge beyond the studio.
